Interactive Installation

Voodoo appears first as a sculpture, a doll's house sitting in a corner. The viewer is a voyeur as they observe pieces of mundane life mixed with pieces of a disturbing narrative being played out by the characters in the windows. Also listening to footsteps and other unknown sounds move through the house.Upon closer inspection they realise that they are in one of the rooms. Stolen by a hidden camera and supplanted into this space. The curious actions of the other characters in the house then having more personal implications.

The piece attempts to articulate the struggle for structure across time in interactive work against the intuitive and sometimes random interactions of the audience. The more movement the audience members make the more disjointed the narrative in the other windows becomes.
